We are happy to announce our first round of dates for our upcoming European tour to support the release of Echo Ono. We have a few more dates to announce soon, and we will have US dates to announce for later in the Spring. We look forward to getting back to Europe and seeing all of you at the shows!

Our new studio album “Echo Ono” will be released by Thrill Jockey February 21, 2012. We are very excited about its release and will be touring Europe and North America to support it. We have dates to announce for both continents very soon. We’ve posted a video preview of the album and the single “Lions of Least“. We look forward to seeing you at the show!

As we find Summer giving way to Fall, so ends our time in the studio. We have plans for a new album to be released early next year. In addition, we have several shows in the works for later in the season. We will have those show dates ready to announce soon.

There are still a few copies of Comecrudos left if you order from Thrill Jockey. We are told there are not many left. If they should run out, we will have a handful of copies remaining at shows, however once those are gone, they’ll be gone. Please support your local record store and pick up a copy there. We hope to see you at the show.

We are happy to announce Pontiak will be playing August 11 with Purling Hiss at the Golden West in Baltimore. We look forward to seeing you there – doors at 10.

Sonic Masala” … it truly is a fucking killer release, and has me even more anxiously anticipating their next LP release, which at this stage won’t be until next year. My favourite EP of the year thus far, hands down, and running for best release. Get it!
